Project Description:

The selected candidate would provide a diversity of support to Skyrora's business development and public relations teams as the company prepares for a demonstration orbital launch. Day to day tasks would include but are not limited to drafting SEO articles for the company's website on key topics within the space sector, drafting social media content and graphics using Canva software, various research tasks associated with planning Skyrora's presence at space conferences and events, and supporting the input of data into Skyrora's CRM system.

Applicant Specification:

Research and analysis skills.

Experience drafting engaging content about complex technical topics using accessible wording.

Graphic design skills using Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.

High levels of organisation and time management to meet various deadlines running in conjunction.

An innate enthusiasm for and desire to learn about the UK space sector.

High levels of resourcefulness and self motivation.

Minimum requirements:

Applicant should be working towards an undergraduate degree in a relevant field.

Process details:

8 weeks minimum fixed term contract to be agreed with successful candidate. The contract period will be from 03/06/2024 to 31/07/2024.

In-person Induction Event to be held on 03/06/2024, and an in-person/hybrid Showcase Event to be held at a TBC location and date.

5 days holiday to be taken during the placement
